AWCI-AZ thrives in our membership's committee involvement.
Committees are a great way to meet other members in a collaborative setting while all working together on common goals.
Here's a breakdown of what we have going on and how you can help. Email Norman if you'd like more information or to sign up for a committee.
Legislative Committee This committee will meet monthly to discuss initiatives affecting the construction industry currently being proposed or discussed at the legislature. Committee Chair: Jeremy Barbosa | Precise Drywall This committee meets monthly to develop the Stucco | EIFS | Plasterer Apprenticeship Program . Committee Co-Chairs: Ken Fenolio | Division Nine Contracting Steve Caldwell | Detect It | Workforce / Apprenticeship Development This committee will help steer and create custom curriculum for an in-house apprenticeship program. It will also help be a conduit of communication with other industry leaders regarding workforce needs. Committee Chair: Bill Borselli | Saguaro Drywall Apprenticeship & Training Commitee This committee meets monthly to interview and meet with apprentices and instructors in a leadership capacity. Events Committee
This committee works on all AWCI-AZ premier events and meets on an as needed basis. Golf, Networking, Member Meeting, and Education series are all topics discussed within this committee.
